Over the last 15 years this area of London has been transformed to a new residential area with the centrepiece building the US Embassy. The area is surrounded by gardens named appropriately Embassy Gardens and roads, named after businesses from the past. You will also be able to admire the unique glass swimming pool linking to apartment buildings together, the only one in the world.

Battersea Power StationWe will stop and park the bicycles. We are allowing plenty of time to explore this iconic development. Currently Battersea Power Station is London's number one attraction. The 2 Turbine Halls have been transformed into a cathedral of retail.

Peace PagodaWe will stop briefly in front of London's peace pagoda built by Buddhist monks completed in 1985. Affectionately known as Ken's pagoda.

King's RoadThe Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. This is where the other half live. We will be cycling through the residential streets passing local pubs and cricket grounds. Admiring the grand Chelsea Hospital. Stopping on the Kings Road to hear stories of the mods and London's fashion trends over the years.
