Archaeological Museum of OlympiaNot to be missed is the modern on-site museum which houses many masterpieces and a large amount of artifacts uncovered from the site, from pre-history to early Christian periods. Its permanent collection includes an almost complete pediment of sculpture from the Temple Of Zeus, a bronze collection & many significant pieces such as the very drinking cup of Phidias, excavated from his workshop & possessing his name in inscription.
