From Mollepata, we continue our drive to Soraypampa, located at 3,900 m (12,795 ft), the starting point of our hike to Humantay Lake. As we arrive, you’ll immediately feel surrounded by the majesty of the Andes, with towering snow-capped peaks like Salkantay watching over the valley. After a short briefing and final preparations, we begin the trek, which takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. The trail is moderately challenging but rewarding, offering breathtaking views of rugged landscapes, native flora, and herds of alpacas along the way.
