Terakoya NINJA's Tea Ceremony Experience offers a hands-on introduction to the traditional tea ceremony.
With a history dating back hundreds of years, the tea ceremony originated in samurai culture and was once considered the highest form of entertainment.
Experienced tea masters will explain and guide you through the special utensils and etiquette used in the tea ceremony as you experience it firsthand.
The tour takes approximately 60minutes.
This is a private or semi-private experience.
The number of people can be set from 1 to 20; for 21 or more, please contact us.
Kimono rental is not included in the price.
As an optional item, we offer a traditional Oshima Tsumugi haori (kimono jacket).
If you would like to wear a kimono, please let us know when making your reservation.
