Torrey Pines GliderportFrom there, we will head to Torrey Pines Glide Port where paragliders can be observed as they take off and land from atop the 400 foot cliffs. Below the cliffs is Black’s beach, what was the country’s first nudist beach which it remains to this day.

We then head uphill to the Veterans’ Memorial, located at the highest point of the whole city, on top of Mt. Soledad with nearly 360 degree view of the entire surrounding area. Next, we descend down through some seriously fancy neighborhoods and beautiful mansions to arrive at one of our favorite little hidden beaches even locals seldom know about. After a visit to the La Jolla Cove near the secret smuggler’s cave, the tour concludes in downtown La Jolla, where you have the chance to observe hundreds of sea lions basking in the sun, and enjoy the culinary and cultural offerings of this true jewel of a city.

Mt. Soledad National Veterans MemorialWe then head uphill to the Veterans’ Memorial, located at the highest point of the whole city, on top of Mt. Soledad with nearly 360 degree view of the entire surrounding area.
