Medhu ZiyaarathThis was a part of the Presidential Palace until it was separated from the Building and still remains as an enclave of the area. It houses Moroccan Scholar Abul Barakat yousef Al-Berberi, who is believed to have introduced Islam to the nation in 1153.

National MuseumEstablished in 1952, this is the first Museum of the Maldives. Admission is per person for entrance to the museum.

Grand Friday MosqueAlso known as the Islamic center of the Maldives, it is named after one of the most celebrated Maldivian hero, Sultan Muhammad Thakurufaanu Al Auzam of the Maldives. Up until 2021, this remained the largest mosque in the Maldives. This Center serves as a conference hall, an Islamic Library and also houses Ministry of Islamic Affairs of the Maldives.
