Overview
We are going to start the tour from Siem Reap City. The total distance from Siem Reap to Battambang is 164 km, and the journey takes about 3-4 hours by car. Start the day by visiting Wat Ek Phnom, a partly collapsed 11th-century temple situated 11 km north of Battambang. Then, drive to Battambang city and visit the local market.
Take a bamboo train ride to Ta Prohm Krong Koh, a former railway line that has been converted into a tourist attraction. After lunch, visit Wat Banan, a 12th-century temple located 25 km south of Battambang City. Finally, go to Phnom Sapeuv to watch the bats fly out at sunset. We return to Siem Reap after the tour.

Wat Ek PhnomYou will visit Wat Ek Phnom is an angkorian temple located on the left side of the Sangkae River at the small creek of Prek Daun Taev northwest the G Peam Aek spot approximately 9 km north of the city of Battambang in north western Cambodia. It is a Hindu temple built in the 11th century under the rule of king Suryavarman I. Although partly collapsed and looted it is famous for its well-carved lintels and pediments.

The name literally means loss of stick referring to a legend of Preah Bat Dambang Kranhoung (Kranhoung Stick King). Most people called Lok Ta Dambong Kra Nhoung.
