SacsayhuamanNext, our itinerary takes us to Sacsayhuaman, situated to the north of Cusco. Sacsayhuaman features massive stone walls encircling a hill, arranged in a zigzag pattern reminiscent of a fortress. Originally, the Incas utilized Sacsayhuaman as a temple devoted to the sun and thunder deities.

Q'enqoFollowing our exploration of Sacsayhuaman, we'll venture to the nearby Inca site of Qenqo. The true purpose of Qenqo remains a mystery, with intricate stone carvings adorning some sections, resembling serpents.

TambomachayOur next destination is Tambomachay, an ancient Inca site revered for its water rituals and known as a sanctuary for Inca nobility, boasting functional water fountains to this day.
