Overview
Shiatsu considers the human being as a multifunctional system, composed of energetic, psychic and physical elements in a condition of constant interdependence, where the absence of health, and therefore of well-being, is the concrete and perceptible expression of the loss of energy balance or "disharmony". The disharmony, and the consequent discomfort of the body and mind, is caused by an internal energetic imbalance which is mainly expressed in the occlusion of the sliding meridian, with consequent further damage to the organ or bowel connected to the meridian itself.
Shiatsu, practiced correctly, is effective because it allows you to "free" the channels where vital energy flows, allowing better circulation of the energy itself, restoring the functions that allow the body to regain balance and harmony with himself and with the surrounding environment.

Shiatsu (in Japanese 指 圧: Shi = finger and atsu = pressure) is a body mediation technique that originates from philosophical traditions and from systems of preservation of energy balance from ancient China and later developed in Japan. It is based on the perpendicular pressure, maintained and constant, exerted along the path of the energy meridians or on specific areas of the body.
Shiatsu allows you to "free" the channels where vital energy flows, restoring the functions that allow the body to regain balance and harmony with itself and with the surrounding environment. Shiatsu is not a competitive or substitute for any medical, psychological or paramedical therapies but is a method aimed at restoring the user's energy balance.
The treatment is usually preceded by an interview that allows the operator to identify the current and previous energy picture, and set the next path. The recipient is made to lie comfortably on the ground, on a special mattress (futon); this will allow him to abandon himself completely. A treatment lasts on average 60/90 minutes ....
