AgraAgra Fort is a historical fort in the city of Agra in India. It was the main Residence of all Mughal Emperors until 1638, when the capital was shifted from Agra to Delhi. Before capture by the British, the last Indian rulers to have occupied it were the Marathas. Here, your Guide will show you "DIWAANE - E - KHAS" & DIWAAN - E - AAM". The fort was commissioned by Akbar in 1565 and reportedly took eight years to construct, your Guide will tell the stories about time of Mughal and its building. Spend some time here. Itmad-ud-DaulaItimad Ud Daula or Mirza Ghiyas-ud-din or Ghiyas Beg was the father of Nur Jahan, the Mughal empress and wife of Jahangir. He was later also made a minister and a trusted treasurer in Akbar's court. It was as a tribute to him, that Nur Jahan built the mausoleum after his death.
