The tomb is renowned for its intricate inlay work, using semi-precious stones such as jasper and lapis lazuli, as well as its beautiful gardens and water features. It is considered a masterpiece of Mughal architecture and a precursor to the Taj Mahal, which was built by Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife.
