Elephant CaveLot of travelers have a misleading expectation from the name of the attraction which often creating an impression that the site is a gigantic dwelling full of elephants. Once you step in into the site you will see the site contains a meditational cave, bathing pools and fountains. The relief around the area feature Hinduism and Buddhism influence dating back to 8th centuries and was built on a hillside and as 2 small streams met here forming a campuhan (river junction), which led to the site being considered sacred and the reason it was built for hermetic meditation and prayers. The main attraction is a 7 meters deep cave with an entrance shows a menacing giant face with its wide open mouth as the door.
