Especially interesting is the Friday cattle market, when the locals from the nearby villages come to sell their cows, goats, camels, etc…

Then, stroll through the mud houses and find out more about the basic concepts of ancient urban architecture in Oman. You may try also a cup of coffee in a modern café, sited in an old restored house. Return back to Muscat in the afternoon.
