The quarries of Añashuayco, one of the 17 quarries in the city of Arequipa where the ashlar is still extracted, we will learn from the ancient techniques in addition to some carvings made for the benefit of the same stonecutters and workers of the ashlar. Here the income is paid 5 soles.

Here we can see a canyon formed of virgin pink ashlar, tracing the origin as the first quarries of ashlar emerged before being worked. A wonderful road called Culebrillas road due to the snake shape.
