BredasdorpLocated in the Southern Overberg region of the Western Cape Province, South Africa. It lies about 160 km south-east of Cape Town on the Agulhas Plain and only 35 km from Cape Agulhas, the southernmost tip of Africa. The town has a museum dedicated to the shipwreck of the Arniston and the Merino Statue located at the entrance of the Bredasdorp/Napier Co-operative erected in honour of the merino sheep. The town is known for sheep farming and boast of other agricultural activities that includes wheat, canola, milk and indigenous fynbos cultivation.
