  • Our Lady of the Rocks
According to legend, the islet was made over the centuries by local seamen who kept an ancient oath after finding the icon of Madonna and Child on the rock in the sea on July 22, 1452. Upon returning from each successful voyage, they laid a rock in the Bay. Over time, the islet gradually emerged from the sea.[4] The custom of throwing rocks into the sea is alive even nowadays. Every year on the sunset of July 22, an event called fašinada in the local dialect, when local residents take their boats and throw rocks into the sea, widening the surface of the island, takes place.
  • According to the presumptions of the archaeologists, the first settlements appeared in the area of Perast in the Neolithic; There are also monuments of the Illyrian, Roman and early Christian periods. The city was founded by the Illyrians, named after one of the local tribes—Pirusti. The first memories of Perast refer to 1336—at that time there was a small fishing village, which had a shipyard, and there were always several commercial and fishing boats in the harbor. But since the strategically important island of St. George, which belonged to Kotor, is in the immediate vicinity, the development of Perast was going very slowly. (pass by)
  • Located in the UNESCO protected Bay of Kotor, Porto Montenegro combines a spectacular lifestyle destination with a world-class, full-service marina and luxury residential village offering premium real estate for sale and rental in this part of the Mediterranean. Complementing the waterfront residences and impressive 450-berth marina is an international retail and dining scene, with world-class gastronomy, elegant bars and bistros, as well as an array of sports, leisure and cultural amenities, bringing together established international brands and local businesses. A dynamic mix of over 80 retail units encompasses fashion and accessories, day spa and hair salon, yachting services and amenities, and of course, quality F&B outlets, giving the destination a year-round appeal. • During the period of the Venetian Republic rule, the island was known as Rondina. The island has a fort, built in 1853 by Austro-Hungarian general Lazarus von Mamula. The fort takes up about 90% of the island's surface area. Along with the fortification on Prevlaka's Cape Oštro as well as Arza fortification on Luštica's Cape Arza, both of which were erected at the same time also on suggestion by general Lazarus von Mamula, fort Mamula was part of the Austro-Hungarian Army's contingency plans of preventing the enemy entrance into the Bay of Kotor. • Blue Cave
People are classifying it as a natural jewel of the Mediterranean due to its natural origin. It is one of the largest in a series of caves in this peninsula, created at the foot of the 30 meters high cliffs, and is a result of thousands of years of sea waves crashing on porous rocks of Lustica. The cave has two openings, a smaller one on the south side and a larger one that’s 3 meters high and 15 meters wide, located on the southwest side. The larger opening enables entrance for barges and smaller ships into the cave, allowing tourists to witness the wonderful play of light in the waters of the Blue Cave. This natural hall, with a 9-meters-above-sea-level vault, is a unique stage for one of Mother Nature’s wonders that will leave visitors breathless.
  • Dobrec beach (Dobreč plaža) is a small gravel beach, 70 meters long. It is located in the bay. Those who like private space will enjoy the beach. Since it can be reached only by boat or sea taxi, it is uncrowded. Besides beauty and privacy, there are all conveniences: sun loungers, umbrellas, changing rooms, shower, WC, pier, cafes and sea rescue service. (pass by)
