But now the black earth hides him, and green grass has covered his grave“ – the lyrics of the well-known patriotic song in honor of today’s most famous inhabitant depicted on the central square in Zagreb, Ban Jelačić Square.
- At the turn of the 20th century Tkalčićeva Street was the main centre for brothels. At one stage every other building was a bordello. Today the street is one of the most popular Zagreb attractions full of cafes and bars. (pass by)
