TubaguaUpon leaving Playa Dorada, you will make your way into the Dominican countryside glimpsing a way of life reflective of a bygone era. Your host will provide you fascinating information regarding life in the countryside as you pass by colorful, typical houses and small colmados. You will make photo stops as well as stop at a local colmado which is like an old-fashion, corner store which also plays a central role within each small community acting as the local canteen and social gathering place including intense Dominos tournaments. With pesos provided by your host, you will experience making a small purchase at a colmado. Continuing up the mountain road, your next stop will be an area with an incredible valley view.

Playa DoradaAfter making the scenic mountain and countryside drive return, you will have a brief amount of time at Playa Dorada to refresh your rum punch, take a stroll along the beach boardwalk or use the facilities. You will then make the return to your port.
