This Rainbow Mountain day tour adventure will begin with a pick up from your hotel in Cusco early at the morning 3:30am to 3:45am. Then, we’ll drive to Cusipata town about 2 hours, here we’ll enjoy our delicious buffet breakfast, after this we’ll be heading to Llactoc village (4620m/15157ft) driving about an hour, this is the beginning of our hike following the path for about 1:30 hours to reach the Rainbow Mountain (5,036m/16,522ft). Along the hike your guide will show you some traditions of the local people, working hard to earn some money. You will be amazed by the stunning views once you reach the summit. Here you’ll take your own time to capture the incredible photos while your guide will be explaining you about the colors and the snow peak mountains surrounding, also at your background you will see the highest mountain peak of Cusco The Ausangate Mountain (6385m / 20948ft) after to explore this unique place you will have the option to hike towards the Red Valley impressive place that looks like Mars. Finally we’ll take the same way to return towards the bus station, board the bus to reach the restaurant, after lunch we drive back to Cusco.
