Anse Major TrailAfter being picked up from your hotel or the ferry, you will be taken by car to the starting point or the entrance to the Anse Major Trail. From there we will hike for about 1-1.5 hours. It is a narrow, safe hiking trail that goes up and down a bit. You don't need to be particularly fit, just good shoes, sports shoes or hiking boots. Please do not wear sandals or flip flops. We will stop at several points on the tour so that you have enough time to take great pictures. There are several hot spots for this. Once you arrive, you have the opportunity to explore the small bay, swim and snorkel. There is also a freshwater pool with water from the granite mountains of the nature reserve, which is certainly several million years old, very clean and cooling. We plan to stay for about 1-2 hours before we either hike back or take a cab boat back, if available and at a small extra charge. After the hike, we will be happy to take you back to the pick-up point or another location on Mahe.
If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
