Each tour includes four of the best Manchester wine venues (bars, pubs, restaurants and shops).
Guests taste at least 6 different types of wine with high-quality snacks.
Your tour guide is a Manchester local, a qualified and experienced wine professional who can show you the art of wine tasting in a light-hearted, non-stuffy way.
Along the route, you will also stop at various points of interest, such as statues of notable characters in Manchester's history.
Tour groups are small with no more than 12 guests per event, which means they are friendly and intimate. Everybody has the chance to ask questions and share their own insights.
This is a great way to see the city and enjoy its incredible food and drink scene. There are opportunities to buy wine to take home along the way, if you wish.

Duration: 4 hours
- There is a different snack at each of the four venues. These might include Spanish croquetas, French cheese, mini corned beef hash, hash browns with taramasalata, oysters, falafels, nuts and so on.
- You will taste at least five (and up to eight) different glasses of high quality wine. This equates to at least 2/3 of a bottle of wine in total per guest.
- A knowledgable, qualified but down to earth wine expert human (!) local tour guide for the afternoon
Meeting point
Large church in Cutting Room Square, about a ten-minute walk from Piccadilly train station.
From Deansgate, head down the side of Box Bar. From Albert Square, head down the side of Ditto Coffee. You will see this huge statue in Lincoln Square.
In front of Manchester Cathedral, round the back of the Corn Exchange and just at the top of Deansgate.
IMPORTANT: We have a number of meeting points in Manchester as tour itineraries vary. Guests will be emailed details of their meeting point and full itinerary a few days before the tour.
The Emmeline Pankhurst statue is in St Peter's Square right outside the Metrolink stop.

Some tours end near Aviva studios, which is not far from Spinningfields.
Some tours end a couple of minutes from Market Street.
End locations vary from tour to tour so this is only an example. You will be given a full itinerary at least 24 hours before the tour.
