Sun VoyagerThe Sun Voyager is a sculpture by Jon Gunnar Arnason, located next to the Saebraut road in Reykjavík, Iceland. Sun Voyager is described as a dreamboat or an ode to the Sun. The artist intended to convey the promise of undiscovered territory, a dream of hope, progress, and freedom.
-
PerlanIn the heart of Reykjavík, Oskjuhlíd Hill rises 61 meters (200 feet) above sea level. On the top of the hill stands Perlan, one of the most visited attractions in Iceland. Several exhibitions are provided at the Perlan among with a great view of Reykjavik from the observation deck.
-
Blue LagoonThe Blue Lagoon is one of Iceland’s most popular attractions, and it is a little wonder why. The beautiful milky-blue water is unlike anything else found in the world and starkly contrasts the surrounding black lava field and its creeping grey moss. It sits at 39°C (102°F) year-round, making it the perfect temperature for bathing. The lagoon is situated on the Reykjanes Peninsula in southwest Iceland, renowned for its barren landscapes and cone-shaped volcanoes. It is only a 45-minute drive from Reykjavík. That makes it the perfect first stop when arriving in Iceland or the last stop before leaving the country. Due to its good location, soothing waters, and rich skin nourishment, the Blue Lagoon became Iceland’s most visited attraction, rivaled only by the Golden Circle sightseeing tour.
If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
