Overview

On Foot RVA running tour showcases the James River and the unique running experience we have in Richmond, VA. It's designed to be informative and our narrative focuses on current history and how Richmond has grown in recent years, while recognizing the historic artifacts along the way.

Runners know that the best way to get to know a city is on your feet, exploring the city where the cars can't go. We will run on bridges, crushed gravel trails, paved trails and a few roads along the way.

If you are visiting Richmond and you're a runner, you can combine your passion with a fun tour that will give you an overview of what RVA has to offer to visitors and residents. We welcome runners of all paces and we will make frequent stops for photo ops!

Guide and participants will wear face masks and follow the protocol of 6 foot distance between us while running and whenever we stop along the way. We will run a bit, then stop for tour highlight dialogue, run again, and continue in this manner throughout the tour.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
