The pace is moderate, making it suitable for most fitness levels.
During the day, you will stop to enjoy a traditional Lapland barbecue in a natural setting.

Riisitunturi National ParkBegin your experience with pickup in Rovaniemi and transfer to Riisitunturi National Park, located approximately 2–2.5 hours from the city. On arrival, you will start a guided walk through snow-covered forest trails. The route passes through areas known for heavily snow-laden trees, often referred to locally as “tykky,” as well as open viewpoints overlooking the surrounding Arctic landscape. The walk is at a moderate and steady pace, with regular stops to enjoy the scenery, take photos, and rest. Your guide will share insights about the park, winter conditions, and local nature throughout the experience. Midway through the outing, you will stop at a designated fire site to enjoy a traditional Lapland barbecue with hot drinks. After completing the walk, return transfer to Rovaniemi. Total duration is approximately 7–8 hours.
