You’ll come away from this guided tour with some great knowledge of Bonn’s history and politics. Lasting three hours, the shore experience is cut in two – you’ll spend the first half touring the city by bus, and the second half exploring on foot. And there’ll be commentary from your guide throughout. Bonn’s must-see sights include the old city hall which is decked out in shades of pink and white, the Baroque-style Poppelsdorf Palace, and the modern government district. You’ll also pass by the former home of classical composer Ludwig van Beethoven, as well as Bonn Minster and its intricate Romanesque cloister, before returning to the ship.
