River Cruise Collection: Cruising the Danube Delta
Overview
The Danube Delta is a 4,000-square-kilometre zone of lakes, lagoons, wetlands, marshes and meadows. The area’s so impressive, UNESCO have dubbed it a World Heritage Site. On this outing, you’ll discover some of its different landscapes during a boat tour. You’ll be taken by coach from the ship in Braila to the nearby city of Tulcea, where you’ll have a 10-minute walk to the boat. Once you’re onboard, you’ll sail into the Delta, where you’ll have plenty of time to admire the scenery and look for native birds – there are over 300 species here. Whilst onboard you’ll enjoy a buffet meal with wine, before sailing back to Tulcea. Here, the coach will be waiting for your return journey to Braila.
