Colorado Riverway Recreation AreaMeet your guide at the Way to Moab shop before traveling along scenic Highway 128 to the Colorado River. After a safety briefing and getting fitted with your life jacket, launch onto the Moab Daily for a relaxed morning of rafting through Professor Valley. Float beneath towering red-rock cliffs and desert formations while your guide points out local geology, history, wildlife, and landmarks along the river. Between the calm stretches of water, paddle through several small whitewater rapids for a fun splash of excitement. When conditions allow, there may be opportunities to cool off, swim, or simply relax and enjoy the scenery. After several hours on the river, reach the take-out and ride back to Moab. This beginner-friendly trip combines scenery, mild whitewater, and time on the water, making it a good choice for families and first-time rafters. Minimum age is 5 years old or approximately 50 lbs.
