Overview
From Piazzale Flaminio, we’ll drive through Villa Borghese, making a stop at the Pincio Terrace to take in breathtaking panoramic views of Rome’s iconic skyline. We’ll pass by Porta Pinciana, part of the ancient Aurelian Walls, and along Via Veneto before reaching Piazza Barberini and the Baroque beauty of Piazza delle Quattro Fontane. At the Colosseum, you’ll marvel at the grandeur of this ancient amphitheater. Next, we’ll explore the Circus Maximus, the vast site of Roman chariot races, before heading to Parco Savello and its lush Orange Garden with sweeping views of the city. Continuing, we’ll visit the legendary Bocca della Verità, located in the ancient Forum Boarium, before heading to Capitoline Hill, where Rome’s history was shaped. We’ll admire Piazza Venezia, before moving to Largo Argentina, the site of Julius Caesar's assassination. Our journey continues through the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, and ends at the majestic Spanish Steps, offering a perfect view of Rome’s elegance.

Rione MontiWe’ll take a brief stop in the Monti district—once known as the Suburra, the gritty heart of ancient Rome. Today, it’s one of the city’s most intriguing neighborhoods, where centuries-old alleyways whisper stories of emperors and outcasts. From here, a stunning view opens over the Imperial Fora, revealing how the ancient and medieval layers of the city weave seamlessly together.
-
Circo MassimoFrom this spot, you’ll overlook the Circus Maximus, once the largest stadium in the ancient world, capable of holding up to 300,000 roaring spectators. It was here that chariot races like those in Ben-Hur captivated the Roman crowds, with teams thundering past at incredible speed. Just beyond, rising above the track, is the Palatine Hill—home of emperors, who watched the spectacle from their luxurious palaces. Today, the noise has faded, but the scale, the setting, and the stories remain just as powerful.
- From the Mouth of Truth, we head into the Forum Boarium, one of Rome’s oldest market areas. Here you'll find the Temple of Hercules Victor, a rare circular temple in marble, and the elegant Temple of Portunus, overlooking the Tiber. Nearby stands the imposing Arch of Janus, mysterious and massive. We continue to the Theatre of Marcellus, often mistaken for a mini Colosseum. What makes it even more extraordinary? A Renaissance palace built on top by the Savelli family—and yes, people still live there today. Layers of Rome, literally. (pass by)
