Overview
During the course of this adventure, we will be searching for the Elk herds and observing the endlessly entertaining activity of the mating season, called the Rut. There's no better way to follow the elk ruttin' around than in the Green Jeep Tour!
Some walking may be involved in the tour and most of the walking areas are stroller accessible, which can be carried in the cab of the jeep. A person in a wheelchair could also join if they can manage getting in/out of a regular jeep.
Other times and private tours may be available.

Estes ParkAs the weather turns to fall the Elk come down from the Mountain tops and into the town of Estes Park where they compete for dominance, known as the annual Elk Rut! Tour the area in our open Jeeps for incredible opportunities to see the wildside of wildlife in the Rockies.

Rocky Mountain National ParkElk are known to come down the mountain and into the town of Estes Park during the Rut season. Nonetheless, Elk are still quite fond of the RMNP area and we will likely have a good chance of seeing them there as well as in other areas around town.
If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met,
you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.
