Reversing Falls RapidsCreated by the interaction of the Bay of Fundy and the Saint John River, this attraction has 3 very distinct stages depending on when you arrive. At low tide the river empties into the bay causing a series of rapids and whirlpools. As tides rise they slow the river current for a brief period called slack tide. The Bay's tides continue to rise, gradually reversing the flow of the river; rapids form again, peaking at high tide. A 8.5-metre (28-foot) tide cycle is roughly 12.5 hours. Keep an eye open for harbour seals and birds playing and feeding in the currents, or perhaps even the slightly more rare but equally impressive group of whitewater kayakers who frequent this location, for which Saint Joh has been ranked one of the top urban whitewater destinations in the world.

Moosehead Small BatchA brewing story as old as Canada itself. Founded in 1867 by matriarch Susannah Oland, Moosehead has been a staple of life in Saint John and Atlantic Canada for over 150 years. In 2018 in our Small Batch Brewery and Taproom was opened and became their home for innovation. Join us for a 16oz beverage (included in the price of the tour) and share in the story of this Saint John icon!
