Agra FortAgra Fort From here you move on to visit Agra Fort which too is the UNESCO World Heritage. It is nearly 3 km away from TajMahal. Agra Fort was built in the reign of the Mughal Emperor Akbar and is beautifully done in red stone. It was a planned point for the armed forces and the residence for the royal family.

After having lunch you can proceed for Fatehpur Sikri. It was built in the 16th century and is approximately 40kms from the town of Agra. It was constructed by Akbar and was a capital of the Mughal emperor but people soon migrated because of dearth of water. After Fatehpur Sikri, you will be taken to see the Taj Mahal which is a magnificent sight at the time of sunset.
