Arrive in Agra and Visit the Taj Mahal On arrival in Agra, you will meet your tour guide and proceed to visit the Taj Mahal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal, the Taj Mahal is a symbol of eternal love and one of the finest examples of Mughal architecture. It stands gracefully on the banks of the Yamuna River. Note: The Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays.

Itmad-ud-DaulaVisit to the Baby Taj Explore the Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, often called the "Baby Taj." Built between 1622 and 1628 by Noor Jahan for her father, Mirza Ghiyas Beg (known as the “Pillar of the State”), it is considered a precursor to the Taj Mahal. Return to Delhi Drive back to Delhi and arrive in the evening. You will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport.
