Itmad-ud-DaulaAfter touring the Agra Fort, you will be guided to the Itimad-Ud-Daulah ( also called Baby Taj Mahal ) is often regarded as a draft of the Taj Mahal & is situated on the other bank of river Yamuna in the city of Agra in India. It is known for the first use of the Pietra Dura ( floral design made up of semiprecious stone ) . It is a historical a mausoleum of a minister in the Mughal court Itimad-ud-Daulah (earlier known as Mir Gheyas Beg) who was the father of Nur Jahan, the wife of Jahangir. He was later also made a minister & a trusted treasurer in Akbar's court. It was as a tribute to him, that Nur Jahan built this mausoleum after his death.
