Sani PassDeparting Underberg, we travel through Himeville and enter the UNESCO-listed uKhahlamba-Drakensberg Park. Following the Mkomazana River through the scenic Sani Valley, you'll experience dramatic sandstone cliffs, mountain streams, rolling grasslands, and breathtaking views at every turn. As we ascend South Africa's highest mountain pass, your guide will share fascinating stories about the history, geology, wildlife, and people of the region. After completing formalities at the South African Border Post, we continue up the famous switchbacks towards the summit and the Lesotho border.

DurbanWe begin our journey back down Sani Pass, experiencing the famous route from a completely different perspective. The descent provides fresh views of the towering cliffs, winding switchbacks, and vast valleys below, with opportunities for photographs along the way. Arriving back in Underberg at approximately 4:00 PM, we enjoy a complimentary coffee stop before beginning our return journey through the Midlands. Relax and reflect on a day filled with adventure, culture, and spectacular scenery as we return to Durban at approximately 6:00 PM.
