OiaDriving to Oia is by itself a unique experience as the road taking us there is surrounded by cliffs and seascapes. Oia is located on the northern tip of the island, high on the ridge of a cliff, and has the best views of the island. In the village you can shop or walk around to discover the typical architecture of Santorini with its characteristic white houses dug into the volcanic soil.

The mountain took its name from the monastery of Profitis Ilias (Prophet Elijah) that is built right on its peak.
