Catedral da Se de Sao Paulohe first version of the Sé Cathedral was installed in 1591. In 1913, construction began on the Cathedral as it is today. The temple was opened in 1954, without the main towers. Considered one of the five largest neo-Gothic temples in the world, which also had its importance in the country's political life, also has a crypt open to visitors. Casa Das RosasCasa das Rosas is dedicated to various cultural events, focusing on poetry and literature. There are soirées, recitals, book launches, plays, preparatory courses, exhibitions and other formats that promote poetry and art in general. The mansion was built in 1935, a time when the Paulista region was occupied by mansions of coffee lords. Designed by architect Ramos de Azevedo, it was inhabited until 1986, when it was expropriated by the State government. In 1991 it was opened as a cultural space.
