- Located in the heart of Newport Harbor, Goat Island is home to the historic Newport Harbor Lighthouse and has a rich maritime and naval history. Sail past the island while taking in classic views of the lighthouse, harbor, and Newport waterfront. (pass by)
- See Hammersmith Farm from the water, the former summer home of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and the site of the wedding reception for Jacqueline Bouvier and John F. Kennedy in 1953. The historic waterfront estate remains one of Newport’s most recognizable properties. (pass by)
- Take in incredible views of the Claiborne Pell Newport Bridge, one of Rhode Island’s most iconic landmarks. Connecting Newport and Jamestown across Narragansett Bay, the bridge opened in 1969 and features the longest suspension-bridge span in New England. From the water, its soaring towers create one of the most memorable backdrops of the sail. (pass by)
- Sail past historic Fort Adams, an impressive 19th-century coastal fortress overlooking the entrance to Newport Harbor. Once an active U.S. Army post, the fort is now one of Newport’s best-known waterfront landmarks and home to the famous Newport Jazz and Folk Festivals. (pass by)
- Spot Clingstone, one of Narragansett Bay’s most distinctive homes, dramatically perched on a small rocky island just offshore. Often nicknamed the “House on the Rock,” this unique shingle-style home is one of the most memorable sights seen while sailing through the bay. (pass by)
