Generals HighwayAs we begin our journey from the park’s entrance to the Giant Forest, we will drive on the Generals Highway as it winds its way along the scenic Kaweah River. Gaining elevation, we will travel through a diverse and changing landscape from dramatic flowering, cream-colored yuccas in the lower foothills to the largest protected Blue Oak woodland in the world. As we witness the steepest watershed in the Continental United States, we will also see the majestic peaks of the Great Western Divide of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. These epic views are not to be missed!
