Abu Simbel Temple ComplexAt Abu Simbel, travelers will visit the world-famous twin temples built by Pharaoh Ramses II over 3,000 years ago. The larger temple is dedicated to Ramses II himself and features four colossal seated statues of the king, each over 20 meters tall. The smaller temple is dedicated to Queen Nefertari, Ramses' beloved wife.
