Shimba Hills National ReserveEmbark on a scenic day trip to Shimba Hills National Reserve, one of Kenya’s last remaining coastal rainforests. Located just a short drive from the coast, this tour offers a perfect blend of wildlife viewing, nature walks, and breathtaking forest scenery. Enjoy approximately five hours of exploration, including a guided bush walk to Sheldrick Waterfalls, opportunities to spot rare wildlife, and a relaxing lunch with panoramic views overlooking the Marere river.
- At the falls, you can relax, enjoy the natural surroundings, and take a refreshing swim in the cool water, conditions permitting. The powerful flow of the waterfall creates a natural water massage that many visitors find relaxing and rejuvenating. Changing rooms are available near the falls. What to bring: Swimwear, a towel, and suitable wet shoes or sandals with good grip. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended for the forest trail.
