  • Shiraito Falls
Your guide explains how Mt. Fuji’s snowmelt filters through volcanic rock to emerge as thousands of fine “white threads,” forming a broad curtain of water and a cool misty microclimate. Learn the role of this area in historic Fuji-kō pilgrimages and ascetic training. Enjoy unhurried time for photos of Mt. Fuji and the falls. Paths are paved with steps; we keep an easy pace and can adapt for comfort.
  • Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha Shrine
At Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha, the heart of Mt. Fuji’s foothills. Beneath vermilion gates and cedars, we follow a quiet path to Wakutama-ike, a spring fed by Fuji’s aquifer. Here your guide shares how people give thanks for water and safety, and how simple etiquette—light bows, low voices—turns a visit into intention. Face the peak, listen to flowing water, and set the tone for the day. If you are interested, we can also arrange for special prayers such as warding off misfortune, safety at sea, good health, and good fortune. If you choose to participate, it will take an additional 30 minutes (depending on crowd conditions) and the cost is around 5,000 to 6,000 yen per person.
  • Fujinomiya Yakisoba (Lunch Stop) More than a quick bite, this is a window into daily life. In Fujinomiya, steamed chewy noodles hit a sizzling griddle with crisp pork cracklings, cabbage, and a finishing snow of dried fish powder—the postwar hometown style that still anchors festivals and family lunches. We’ll time a stop at a trusted neighborhood shop where the chatter is local and the plates are shareable; learn why noodle makers shaped this city’s flavor, how toppings signal the season, and how to order like a regular.
  • Fuji Takasago Sake Brewery
Continue to Takasago Shuzo (Sake brewery) in Fujinomiya, where the same snowmelt from Mt. Fuji becomes sake. You're able to taste a few kinds of sake here. Learn how water softness, rice polishing, and climate shape flavor, and how to sip with temperature and aroma.
  • Japanese Garden Tea Experience (Afternoon Only) Savor authentic Shizuoka green tea nurtured by Mt. Fuji’s purest spring water. At a traditional tea shop’s café set inside a classic Japanese house overlooking a beautiful Japanese garden. We begin with a brief introduction to the architecture and garden aesthetics, then the tea staff prepares your selection (Matcha, Matcha latte, green tea) at the ideal temperature and infusion. You’ll taste how aroma, umami, and gentle bitterness, paired with a small house-made sweet. We keep the atmosphere unhurried and quiet; photos are welcome with consideration for other guests. - Optional tea ceremony (advance arrangement): With at least three weeks’ notice, we can reserve a private tearoom and invite a tea instructor for a guided tea experience, covering the meaning of the utensils and the essentials of etiquette before sharing a bowl of matcha together. Additional costs apply—please inquire for details.
  • 【Local Beer Trial】 Try local small-batch beers brewed with Mt. Fuji spring water and organically grown local grains (wheat, hops, rice). About six to seven rotating taps feature distinctive profiles—think hints of honey, rice, or hinoki cypress—with tasting flights available. Non-alcoholic choices are also made in-house, including plum soda and ginger ale. 【Calligraphy Mini-Workshop (at the tap room)】 A 30-minute hands-on session with a local calligraphy artist. Learn to write your name or a favorite word in Japanese characters on a round paper fan (uchiwa) to take home; the artist can add a demonstration piece on the reverse. Enjoy the relaxed setting while others sample local brews (non-alcoholic options available). Note: advance request required; scheduling depends on artist availability —please inquire.
  • Lake Tanuki
If Mt. Fuji is visible, we'll take you to Lake Tanuki, where Mt. Fuji reflects on its still waters, creating a perfect mirror image known as the stunning “Double Fuji”, if you're lucky.
