  • The Colossi of Memnon are two massive stone statues standing on the west bank of the Nile in Luxor, Egypt. Dating back over 3,400 years, they once guarded the entrance to the mortuary temple of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. Each statue rises about 18 meters high and depicts the king seated on his throne, facing the rising sun. Though the temple behind them has largely disappeared, the Colossi remain a powerful symbol of ancient Egypt’s architectural skill and royal grandeur. (pass by)
  • Valley of the Kings
visit the Valley of the Kings This is a barren desert area in which the Pharaohs were hiding their mummies and treasures. A lot of these are found in these beautiful colored tombs. You can visit three tombs to enjoy the colors and murals on the walls. The tombs were carved deep in the mountain rock
  • Temple of Hatshepsut
Drive to the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut. She is the first female pharaoh in ancient Egypt who ruled the kingdom for 20 prosperous years. This temple is called El Deir el Bahari as the early Christians used the Northern monastery, as it was a Coptic monastery. Unlike the other temples, this one was built of limestone and partly hewn in the mother bedrock. It has three terraces and its focal point is to tell the story of the Divine birth of the Queen. After your tour, relax as you’re driven back to Safaga Port and dropped off beside your cruise ship, marking the end of an unforgettable day in Luxor.
  • The Karnak Temple
The Karnak temple is a complex of temples. The temple is dedicated to Amun Ra, the chief god in Egyptian mythology. Enjoy the Great Hypostyle court and the reliefs and murals that were added through the generations. Feel astonished at the tall obelisks 70 feet high and cut from a single piece of granite. Look at the statues of the different pharaohs who want to show their loyalty to RA.
  • Luxor Temple
Luxor Temple by night is a breathtaking sight, as the ancient monument is beautifully illuminated against the dark sky of Luxor, Egypt. Built mainly by Amenhotep III and Ramses II, the temple takes on a magical atmosphere after sunset, with glowing columns, statues, and hieroglyphs highlighting its grandeur. Visiting the temple at night offers a peaceful and unforgettable experience, revealing the timeless beauty of ancient Egypt in a completely different light.
