On arrival to Waiheke Island one of our guides will greet you at the wharf to welcome you to our beautiful island. Look out for “The Wine Tasting Company” sign board. (If you are staying on Waiheke, contact us for pick up times)
Our tour starts off with a scenic drive as you soak up the sights of our magical island, from galleries, shops, restaurants, vines and golden sand beaches. Your local guide will share stories about Waiheke, our discovery of wine and olives, our celebrities “world famous on Waiheke” of course and our little visitors (Godwits) who have chosen Waiheke as part of their international stop over.
You will enjoy some food pairing wine tastings with fabulous views.
Lunch will either be a shared platter lunch + glass of wine OR a main + glass of wine at one of our favorite venues.
Waiheke Island is only a 45min ferry ride from Auckland, making this tour an ideal option for day trippers, with a tour duration of approx. 5.5 hours.
