    After being leveled when the Nazis left, this whole neighborhood of cobblestone Gothic streets and alleyways, baroque palaces, numerous churches and tiered burghers' houses were masterfully reconstructed to reflect the atmosphere of bygone days.
  • Rynek Starego Miasta
    Surrounded by beautiful seventeenth- and eighteenth-century merchants' houses, this lively square is filled with street vendors, cafes, shops, galleries and some of Warsaw's top restaurants.
  • Castle Square (Plac Zamkowy)
    Located in Old Town, this picturesque open plaza was built in 1821 and features the King Zygmunt III column in its center.
  • Royal Castle in Warsaw - Museum
    Serving as the central building of the Polish Commonwealth for many centuries, this castle was rebuilt after it was dynamited by German troops after the Warsaw uprising, and has been rebuilt to recreate the original castle's 17th-century architecture and interiors.
  • Viewing Terrace
    The tower is well worth a visit, for a relatively cheap price you get to climb the tower for a delightful view of the old town up close and city centre in the distance. Possible to see for request.
  • Krakowskie Przedmiescie
    This 2.5 mile "Road of Kings" remains all visitors of power of the past years in this territory. It's surrounded by old and fascinating building.
  • Warsaw Uprising Monument
    This is one of the most moving monuments in Warsaw. Great architecture shows effort, strenght and sacrifice of Polish soldiers.
  • Warsaw Barbican (Barbakan Warszawski)
    Sixteenth-century fortress, forming part of the medieval fortifications around the city of Warsaw, used to guard the northern entrance to the city, the Novomeijska Gate.
  • Statue of the Little Insurgent
    A bronze statue commemorates the children who lost their lives in the Warsaw Rising. Small but very moving scuplture.
  • St. Anne's Church (Kosciol Swietej Anny)
    This church has gorgeous structure and altars inside. It's richly decorated but with very peacufull vibes inside. Possible to enter for request.
  • Archcathedral Basilica Of St John The Baptist
    Considered on of the most distinguished churches in Warsaw, this structure was originally built in the thirteenth century and was the site of royal coronations and other national celebrations. Possible to enter for request.
  • Warsaw Mermaid
    Mermaid sits in middle of nice square and wait for admiration from visitors. This interesting sculpture has some hidden legend about itself.
  • King Sigismund's Column (Kolumna Zygmunta)
    King Sigismund's Column, which dates back to the 1600s, in addition to being a work of art, is one of Warsaw's famous landmarks in Old Town.
  • Muzeum Warszawy
    Extraordinary Stories Of Ordinary Things. The Museum of Warsaw collects the things of Warsaw, researches them and makes them available to the public. (Only to see the building from outside)
  • Krasinski Palace
    The outside looks quite impressive though and the reconstruction has been carried out well. Worth a look!
  • Field Cathedral of the Polish Army
    Simplistic beauty of this rebuilt cathedral adds to the beauty and mystique of Old Town. Not overly loaded with ornate objects just stunning and nice. (only outside part of the building)
  • Church of Jesuits
    Imposing building in the old town. Attractive red colour outside. Very ornate inside and higher than you expect
  • The Wishing Bell
    This is a very interesting sight, a 17th century bronze bell set in the middle if s pretty courtyard in the heart of the old town.
  • Vistula
    Warsaw waterfront is developing all the time, new boulevards being added, waterside pubs being opened. Merry and laid back atmosphere.
  • Holy Cross Church (Kosciol Swietego Krzyza)
    Beautiful Church that houses the heart of Chopin! It is so rich in its decoration and the Holy Cross at the entrance is original, survived the bombings. Possible to see for request
  • Palac Prezydencki
    This beautiful neo-classic building is where the Polish president resides and is guarded heavily at all times. The exterior and its surroundings are really worth a look.
  • Church of St. Joseph of the Visitationists
    It was originally a wooden chapel that was rebuilt after it burnt down and the decor inside is very plain and austere
  • Chopin's Bench
    The idea of multimedia bench to present the music of Chopin. Great innovative way to admire Chopin's achievements.
  • New Town Square
    Founded by John III Sobieski to celebrate his Viennese victory over the Turks in 1683, this quiet open plaza features magnificent Renaissance architecture and the baroque church of the sisters of the Holy Sacrament.
  • Carmelite Church - Our Lady of the Assumption
    It is a baroque church next to the presidential palace. Its characteristic details are double pillars and grand stone lampions. They say Napoleon said he'd like to move it on his own hands to Paris. Really worth to visit
  • St. Mary's Church (Kosciol Najswietszej Marii Panny)
    Nowadays, it's one of oldest buildings and one of the few remaining examples of Gothic architecture in the city. Behind the Church, there is a small park with steps that lead down to the banks of Vistula River. Possible to see for request.
  • Adam Mickiewicz Monument
    It is an impressive monument for one of Polish leading poets. Great decorations, steps and sculptures around all monument
