We invite you to a talk and tasting focused on artisan chocolate from Oaxaca. Although we are in Mexico City, we bring the product directly from this region, famous for its chocolate tradition. The idea is to have a pleasant time learning to differentiate a commercial chocolate from an authentic and artisan one.
What will we do during the activity?
We will focus on testing and knowing the product in a simple way. During the session, we will try different varieties so that you will notice how the flavor changes according to the percentage of cocoa and sugar:
• Pure cocoa (0% sugar): To know the natural flavor of the grain.
• 70% cocoa bar : An intermediate point with a balanced taste.
We will talk briefly about the origin of cocoa and how it is transformed into chocolate. We will use some typical clay pieces to serve, showing the everyday way it is enjoyed in Mexico, without complications.

Finally, we will prepare a cup of chocolate at the moment. You can choose whether you prefer hot or cold. It is a practical and real experience to know the richness of Mexican chocolate in a close and honest way.
