Your adventure begins at our base in the Sólheimajökull Parking Lot, about a 35-minute drive from the town of Vík. Here, you meet your friendly, certified glacier guide. After a safety briefing and gear-up, you’ll embark on a scenic walk toward the ice, passing a glacier lagoon where blue icebergs float beautifully in the water.

Once we step onto the ice, you’ll discover a frozen world of towering ridges and deep blue formations.
