- Home of Lake Travis’ 4th of July fireworks show & filmed in the movie Spy Kids, directed by Texas’ own Robert Rodriguez. Lake Travis’ most familiar landmark archipelago, Starnes Island, is located in the Sandy Creek arm of the lake.
