Can Gio Mangrove Biosphere ReserveListed in the World Network of Biosphere Reserves by UNESCO, Can Gio is one of the most important wetland of Vietnam, home of more than 200 species of fauna and 52 species of flora. This experience is part of our eco-tour. Depart Saigon and head straight to our port in Can Gio - Vam Sat. Take the canoe trip along the immense river to go to the bat area. Here you’ll board a rowing boat to explore the natural landscape and its inhabitants such as the large fruit bats. A short trek will take you to the nearby bird reserve during the nesting season (*) where a watchtower will allow you to observe thousands birds flying around. Have lunch at a local eco restaurant. After lunch, keep walking to the natural crocodile lake. While out of the lake, occasionally, you may see wild monkeys jumping out from the forest.
