Lake JasnaFirst stop at Lake Jasna, just above Kranjska Gora: two small lakes of clear green water with the Julian Alps straight behind them, and the bronze Zlatorog on the shore. A short stop for coffee and photographs before the road starts to climb.
- Over the Vršič Pass, Slovenia's highest mountain road at 1,611 metres: fifty numbered hairpin bends through Triglav National Park, built by prisoners of war in WWI, past the wooden Russian Chapel, then down into the Trenta valley where the Soča begins. Photo stops on the way. (pass by)

BovecBovec is the base for the afternoon. Lunch in town, then the group splits by the option you booked: Kozjak waterfalls & Kobarid, or Soča rafting (3 hours). Everyone regroups in Bovec for the drive back to Ljubljana.

Soca ValleySoča rafting option: three hours on the emerald Soča with a professional crew and full equipment, beginners and children welcome. Rafting fee paid separately, we contact you with the details after booking. Bring swimwear, a towel and a change of clothes.
