Merge yourself in a history made up of legends and myths that span until the Renaissance period, but is rooted In the Etruscan period. The hike will begin from the Hotel della Fortezza, an ancient fourteenth-century castle, a place where it is possible to spend an arabian night. Our journey will continue towards the Vie Cave that branches off just below the village and then goes up to the opposite hill from which we will have a unique view of this enchanted village. On the way back we will stop at the Cantina della Luce, where its owners will let you taste the products of their hard work.

Sorano Centro StoricoJoin The Red Road Tour for a once-in-a-lifetime hike, followed by a wine tasting with a local and fully licensed guide. We will walk in the footsteps of the Etruscans, the ancient people who inhabited the ancient lands of Marrema, immersing ourselves in the vie cave (ancient streets dug into the tufaceous rock that reaches a depth of 25 meters) and following a circular route of about 6 km (3.7 miles.) Experience the secret walkways, caves, and tombs of these people who dug the paths to connect with the necropolises, also known as the ancient cities of the dead. The tour will end with a visit to a cellar where two young winemakers will explain you how they make wine today and where you will be able to taste a sample of their products. The entire excursion will be an experiential journey that will involve the 5 senses, allowing you to experience and savor all the history and uniqueness of a territory.
